Hess Tire & Auto Parts began operation in 1969 as Hess TBA Supplies when founder Augustus Hess merged a gas station and auto parts shop into a single business. Since that time, the company has provided superior sales and service in tires, auto service, and auto parts to the Lewistown, PA community. After the business was destroyed in a fire, Hess Tire & Auto Parts reopened in 1989 under its current name.
